DAISY- the penultimate round - nuntium duocentesimum septuagesimum quintum

Tatting and life still go on.  We will make it.  One day at a time.

DAISY is coming along, in fact we're almost done.  Turns out we can't enter into our Fair.  They don't take doilies.  We could turn in a table centerpiece but it must be at least 24" across.  And it has to be done by just one person.  I thought the mother-daughter piece is what made it so remarkable.  I guess we'll just enjoy it ourselves.  : )

  1. I'm sorry you can't enter your beautiful doily in the fair, but I'm very happy that you have such a wonderful mother/daughter piece.

  4. Hi, This doily is wonderful! I looked at the posts all the way to the first one, I didn't read them all, but what colors are you using? The colors are perfect! Ladies you are both very talented and so sweet to see you tatting together! Thank you for sharing! Sincerely, Sandy R.

  5. It's a shame you can't enter it into the fair, but it's really lovely and a great co-operative project!

  6. We'll find a category for it to be entered next year. There's got to be somewhere it fits. It's gorgeous, and if for some reason it becomes unusable in your abode, it would be lovely and really appreciated in mine :-)

After this year's blizzard is done before Christmas, my next project will be the bracelet that no longer has to use beaded mock rings. I love that you thought it through and came up with an alternate method!
